iColor Pigment Line Review

Basic Line, Tint, Reach Line

I, Natasha Koldomova, am the creator of the iColor brand and today let's have a review of pigments from our assortment.

We have several lines of pigments - they impress any master in terms of colors, composition and how the pigment lays down in the skin.

Earlier, we mentioned that our palette is not bloated and it is easy for the artist to choose a color. Earlier means in 2017 :)

But time passed, in 2018 we created an innovative product, TINTS, and called this line COLORTUNE.

And in 2022, in the light of the new requirements for the chemical composition of products and production processes in Europe, we created the REACH LINE pigments palette.

BASIC LINE

A line of organic-containing pigments, wherein you will find truly legendary colors for eyebrows, eyelids and lips.

  • Pigments contain synthetic minerals (because they come out of the skin naturally) and synthetic organics.
  • Their main advantage are the colors, they are easily laid, the color in the bottle and on the skin is the same, they provide beautiful results after healing.
  • One of the great advantages is that you can work with pigments in different styles and get results from the most natural look to makeup effect.
  • The eyebrow pigments remain in the skin for up to 3 years unless refreshed.
  • Lip pigments applied with a watercolor effect remain for up to 3 years, while those applied with a lipstick effect remain for up to 5 years.
We have these pigments available for lips, eyelids and eyebrows.

The most popular shades in the palette: NATURAL BROWN, TERRA BROWN, BLACK&BROWN, DARK BLONDE, correctors BRONZA and MUSTARD, black pigment BLACK VELVET, which heals with rich black color on eyelids, lip pigments ICONIC NUDE, BERRY, LIP KISS, BLUSH, RASPBERRY.

REACH LINE

This line contains eyebrow, lip and eyelid pigments. Unlike BASIC LINE pigments, they do not contain isopropyl alcohol, but contain propylene glycol.

Propylene glycol is a humectant, it accumulates water molecules, improves pigment penetration, metabolizes lactic acid in the skin.
  • The shades LUXURIOUS BRUNETTE, NATURAL BRUNETTE, MILKY BROWN use synthetic organics and minerals that have undergone additional purification from nickel and heavy metals. The remaining eyebrow shades comprise solely synthetic organics.

  • The lip shades BELLINI, STYLISH NUDE, ROSA CRÈME, SUGAR NAKED use organics and minerals. The rest contain solely synthetic organics.

  • The BLACK STAR eyelid pigment is an elemental carbon derived from gas, it is poorly stable and will not remain in the skin for a long time, and you will not get super black shade as with the BLACK VELVET pigment from the BASIC LINE series.

  • The pigments remain in the skin for the same period of time as the pigments from the BASIC LINE series, but taking into account the REFRESH procedure.

  • The pigments generally sit in the skin in a thinner layer, being more transparent.

  • The lip pigments also differ in the visual effect immediately after. The pigments BELLINI, STYLISH NUDE and ROSA CRÈME will provide a velvet matte effect.

  • The application technique also differs. REACH LINE eyebrow pigments allow dense strokes and layering, whereas BASIC LINE pigments allow only layering.

  • Due to the peculiarities of the formulation, the laying of the pigment differs, but in general the pigments are laid well. And remember that the residue in the skin depends on the skin type, technique and physiological make-up of the person.

COLORTUNE

This is a line of tints. This is what most of you dream of.

  1. The eyebrow tints on the average remain in the skin for 18 months, the lip tints - for 24 months. Then they fade completely.
  2. The most simple coloristics.
  3. Introduced into the skin using a pendulum motion.
  4. Do not change the structure of the skin.
  5. Do not dry out the skin.
  6. Do not sink over time.
  7. Have low density.
Tints are perfect not only for clean skin, but also for correction and refreshment procedures; thanks to the lightweight pigment formula, you do not overload the skin with the pigment, but only refresh it. The principle of hair toning.
TINTS are the entry product for PMU for the end customer.
Ingredients:
  • Organic synthetics
  • Mineral oil that nourishes the skin, eliminates dryness (especially important for the lip area), there are no dry crusts during healing, the maximum comfort on the lips, cracking on the eyebrows which resolves in 2 days.

  • A highly viscous preservative that keeps the dye in a static state even when it enters the skin; thanks to high viscosity, the entire cosmetic liquid base takes longer to get out of the skin. In this way, the dye clings and is distributed in the skin and retained in it at the same depth. This ensures a reliable uniform distribution of the pigment and a uniform exit from the skin later on.

since the dye remains at the same depth, as well as due to the instability of the organic dye, the color lasts in the skin at most up to 24 months.
